December 1. First snow. The start of Hanukkah. Feels like winter is here. The season cycle is shifting. Change has predictably arrived. This seems the perfect moment to invite you to join us for our Season Four 2011: Season of Change. To sample each of the plays we are presenting in 2011, come to our FREE Season Preview this Saturday, December 4 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. Reservation information below.
One of our 100 Club members called me yesterday to renew and to give the gift of a season of engaging theater to her son. Of course I am partial to this kind of gift! But for good reason: a 3-play subscription at 16th Street is meaningful and enjoyable. And affordable at $48. Gift certificates good for one ticket to any show at any time are also available for $18 each. Call (708) 795-6704 x105 to order subscriptions and gift certificates, and we will mail them out to you right away. Thank you for being a part of 16th Street this year and beyond. Happy first snow!

SEASON FOUR 2011
Season of Change is upon us and we want you at 16th Street. The promise we hear trotted out every election: CHANGE! That oh so manipulative, often empty, yet politically-charged word. The thing we pledge to do: “We can change!” and the thing we hope for: “If only things would change.” Change can be the hardest task we undertake, yet it’s the only thing to remain constant in our lives. Change can be the thing we most fear. And some do everything in their power to avoid it. Ah, change! Buy season subscriptions at www.16thstreettheater.org. We begin our Season of Change in the ‘50s with the Beat generation, jump into the ‘80s with Chicago’s political machine, and arrive in the now with Laura Jacqmin’s social satire about dentists vowing to “make a difference!” We take a journey across Mexico with two young brothers, move into questions of parenthood, and create new holiday traditions.
On Saturday, December 4 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM, we will present a Sneak Peek of our Season Four 2011. You enjoy drinks and desserts from Harlem Expresso while we show you excerpts from each play. You come for FREE and then purchase your 100 Club Subscription at the event to enjoy 16th Street all year long in 2011. This is always such a fun event! You must reserve by leaving a message with your name and phone number at (708) 795-6704 x105.
