Cook Off and Posters
Many have asked where can they get a Berwyn Historical Society Poster?
Answer: at the Berwyn Public Library for five dollars. Such a deal!
A cause near and dear to me, CARES(Citizens Aligned to Renew Education for Citizens) will be benefiting from the Chili cook-off at Garv's:
This Sunday, October 3rd, the Garv Inn (6546 West Windsor) is hosting a Chili Cook-Off with proceeds benefiting Berwyn CARES. For $10 you will receive a BOTTOM-LESS bowl of chili, a T-Shirt and the great feeling that comes from helping improve education in Berwyn. Another, such a deal!
If you would like to enter your chili into the contest you can sign up at Garv's.
The entry fee is $25 ($35 if you need them to provide you with a propane tank). Everything has to be made on site, set-up is 12:30 PM and cooking time is 1:00-3:00 PM. Prizes will be awarded.
