Events This Weekend
We had a great dialogue last night with the cast and audience after The Last Barbecue. (Not to mention the pre-show "After Hours" BDC event with food by Wishbone in the beautiful Terrace at the BCC.) After the play we talked about time and memory, reunions, how we change and how we stay the same. Every Thursday and Friday night we love to talk to you after the show. Join us tonight. As Jan says in the play: "It'll be fun!"

Did you read? We are show of the week in TIME OUT, so what are you waiting for? Aren't you hungry for some "storefront theater at its best." See the play, then join the debate on our blog(http://www.16thstreettheater.blogspot.com) about the underbelly of the Neveu BBQ. Don't forget to bring your own baggage! And then meet us again on Facebook: see below.

Did you know? We have other events at the Berwyn Cultural Center such as the Palomar String Quartet Sunday August 9 at 7:30 PM. See below. See you at 16th Street!

16th Street Theater
Brett Neveu's THE LAST BARBECUE thru August 8 only!

"The Last Barbecue not an outing you want to miss! Nobody captures the angst and the blacker-than-a-black-hole comedy of a backyard meltdown like Brett Neveu." - Chicago Examiner. "Hilarious in the darkest possible way... Inspired pitch-black comedic brilliance and the horrific familiarity of an old family photo album." - Catey Sullivan, Pioneer Press. "Ann Filmer's emotionally delicate, physically rooted staging never takes a false step. Recommended!"- Laura Molzahn, Chicago Reader. "Actors’ bare emotions and the playwright’s words take center stage throughout." - Fabrizio O Almeida, New City. Go to our web site to link to read all the reviews.
