State of Latino Chicago Meeting September 11, 2006
The host, University of Notre Dame Latino Studies, is located right here in Berwyn. Go if you can.

You are invited to a meeting to discuss the role that Cicero and Berwyn play in larger regional planning issues.The University of Notre Dame, Institute for Latino Studies is assisting in organizing this meeting and will make a presentation on the State of Latino Chicago. Your input and participation are welcome. They would be greatly appreciate it if you are able to attend.You can make a difference!

The program includes a presentation of “The State of Latino Chicago: This is Home Now”,? a report released last year by the University of Notre Dame Institute for Latino Studies. The report highlights the assets and contributions that Latinos bring to the region. Representatives from CMAP, a recent merger of the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission and the Chicago Area Transportation Study, will discuss opportunities for Latino engagement in the planning process. Latinos United will guide participants in that discussion and in the creation of a policy agenda.
