November 8, 2005 City Council Meeting
Three policemen received commendations from Cook County.
We have now re-financed.
We are buying a new endloader.
The Mayor would like to suspend the natural gas tax during this coming winter.
The Mayor has asked for a new Finance Director. We currently do not have one.
The City is trying a little experiment along the railroad tracks. Since the railroad will not respond, we are going to clean up some of the debris along the tracks and then simply bill the railroad.
There is a new sexual harassment policy being implemented within the City.

Finally, the project at Oak Park, Grove, 32nd and Stanley is now official. Look for groundbreaking within six months.

Although there was more on the agenda, the above are the items I feel are the most important.
