Passport To Art
I apologize for the last post. Although I clearly put in breaks between
subjects, this blogger has decided to update itself and of course in
moving on to a better future, blogger totally screwed up the line-break thing.

Hopefully, this time will work better.

This Saturday in The Depot, Passport To Art

This is the 3rd annual student art show and art work from just about every school in Berwyn will be represented. Join and celebrate student art this Saturday! Invite your friends and family!

This event is sponsored by the Berwyn Arts Council, the Berwyn Development Corporation and the Berwyn Depot District Merchants Association.

When you arrive have your child grab a Passport at any of the participating Depot District Businesses and then begin your travels to see the artwork. At the end of your visit, stop at "Over the Rainbow" ice cream parlor where your children will receive a free ice cream cone! The event will start at 10 am and conclude at 2 pm.

Here's her artist statement: My work is based on exploration of the grid: both its philosophical and formal aspects. One of the themes that I explore through the grid is the sublime of tall buildings as experienced while

inability to see clearly.

With the help of her friends and some enchanting magi, Alicia mines the underworlds of Brujeria, Santeria and Hoodoo for magic recipes, age-old traditions and ancient jar spells looking for a cure. Based on real and extended exchanges with practitioners of each craft, Enfrascada explores one of the best-kept secrets in the Latino community.
